Soul the Bard Media is my personal catalogue of the movies, television, anime, music, stage productions and online media I've watched, listened to, am working through, plan to get to, or have reacted to.
Besides browsing the catalogue, you can explore Collections, vote where voting is available, and send in recommendations. It is one person's catalogue, not a comprehensive database of everything.

Whether something is not started, in progress, paused, finished or dropped is my own status, not a rating or a ranking.
Progress and Notes
Progress and Notes are personal to each entry: where I am with it, and anything I wanted to keep about it.
Reactions and Releases
A Reaction is my own reaction to a title, and a Release is a published link to that reaction when one is public.
Collections
Collections group related works, such as a franchise, across different kinds of media.
Recommendations and voting
These are for visitors. You can send in a recommendation, and where voting is open you can vote on titles.
Data & platform attributions
Some of the information and images in the catalogue come from outside services. They are credited here, and their names and logos belong to them.
MusicBrainz
Music metadata may be provided by MusicBrainz and its community of contributors.
Cover Art Archive
Some music cover artwork comes from the Cover Art Archive, a collaboration between MusicBrainz and the Internet Archive. The artwork itself belongs to its respective rights holders.
YouTube
YouTube metadata and thumbnails are used for YouTube entries in the catalogue where applicable. This site is not sponsored, certified or endorsed by YouTube.
Artwork attribution
Artwork used throughout the catalogue can come from different sources. When a source is known, a title's detail view names the source of the artwork currently being displayed, under At a Glance. Where there is a page for it, the source's name links to the original.
Other catalogue artwork, including Collection artwork, may come from credited sources such as TheTVDB and Music Theatre International.
- Where a title's information comes from and where its artwork comes from can be different things.
- Different images for the same title, such as a poster and a backdrop, can come from different places.
- The source shown with a title's artwork is the authoritative credit for that image. This page only credits the services above in general.
